THE FARMHOUSE

“Ca’ Piadera has an adventurous character. It all began a few years ago when I bought an abandoned derelict farmhouse that was completely covered with plants and shrubs. Through sheer determination, I have renovated the farmhouse which dates back to the 19th Century, and have faced and won considerable difficulties and battles along the way; but have always been rewarded by the views of the beautiful landscapes, charm and atmosphere of this place. I work and live surrounded by vineyards, sharing daily plans, hopes and visions of the future with the people in the company who now represent my family. With them we share the strong feeling of satisfaction we get from our guests and I can finally say that what was once only a dream has taken shape.
This is why I continue to believe in and be happy on this adventure”.

The farmhouse retains the old name ‘Piadera’ and is now beautifully restored, surrounded by vineyards and the silence of Larch, Chestnut, and Acacia woodland. In place of weeds and scrub, there are lawns, climbing roses, flower beds and a herb garden with mint, valerian and lemon verbena.
Managing the activities of the farm and behind every bottle of wine is a team of dedicated people who work with a smile on their faces and with enthusiasm in their hearts for the project they all believe in.
Ca’ Piadera is recognised as an agricultural company that produces its own wines and food: salami, sopressa (cured pork salami), ossocollo (fried spiced pork meat) and ham from home reared pig, chickens and rabbits. It has a reputation for its kitchen where all the pasta and bread are fresh and homemade every day and where the aroma of ragu sauce fills the air.
Ca’ Piadera is a place well known for its kind welcome and authentic eating experience where you are able to feel the sincere relationship between the land and traditions.
